I will deny to the death being a true-blue Washingtonian...but if you live in the Beltway like my wife and I do, you know what "The Pledge" is. It's the oft-mentioned document Americans for Tax Reform circulates to candidates that, if they sign it, obliges them to oppose any and all tax increases while they are in office. And, real Washingtonian or not, I was interested to learn today that Governor Romney has signed ATR's Pledge. Here's the proof (warning: PDF).
