Living in the heart of Tennessee--just a stone's throw from Fred Thompson's hometown--it was wonderful to go to Toronto where people are less interested in the upcoming U.S. elections. Sometimes you just need a break.

In fact, I found this store near our hotel, whose (admittedly strange) name perfectly summed up why I loved being in Canada.
