WHEN YOU POINT A FINGER, FOUR MORE POINT BACK AT YOU

There is a presidential candidate out there whom I like a good deal. People I respect have endorsed him. I don't support him, but I think he's a good man who has served our nation well in his day job--and will continue to do so if he just sticks with it.

Said presidential candidate's campaign recently started a blog. His blog--perhaps for lack of positive things to report--has apparently started a series of posts attacking another Republican presidential candidate's alleged flip-flops. This comes after a number of press releases attacking other Republican presidential candidates, including the one targeted by the new blog series.

Of course, we all know that Ronald Reagan's Eleventh Commandment--"Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican"--is not engraved in stone, given that he himself challenged President Ford pretty vocally in the 1976 primaries. But we also know that we're not supposed to throw it under the bus wholesale. This presidential candidate has done that, and he should lay off, for two reasons:

1. It's the right thing to do, and I think this presidential candidate cares about that.
2. If anybody has ever flip-flopped, he did it, um, the other day.

That is all I had to say.
