The Governor's Race in Tennessee
Wow. In what seemed like a surprising endorsement, Gov. Romney has endorsed Bill Haslam in Tennessee's race for Governor.
In a release, Romney states, “Bill Haslam’s experience as a successful businessman and mayor make him uniquely qualified to lead Tennessee through these challenging economic times. A committed conservative, he will make the hard decisions necessary to balance the budget, get the economy back on the right track, and help put people back to work,” said Romney.Romney’s PAC is also sending Haslam’s campaign a $2,500 primary election contribution.
