With regard to Nancy's post...let me just point out that she is married to one of the young Americans (yes, David still qualifies as "young," his haircut notwithstanding) who is "answering the call." 'Nuff said.

And if you thought what little I said on PBS was "straight talk," check out this op-ed in today's Globe by Gov. Romney. It's sad that I have to say this, but these kinds of words re: fiscal restraint are not often found coming from the mouths of Republicans these days--nor are the actions one must take to back such words up. Once again, in this man we have both.
