Marc Ambinder points this out, related to the rumored NRLC endorsement:

...Thompson is going to have to answer a lot of abortion questions over the next few days -- and Thompson is not comfortable answering questions about abortion. And Mitt Romney is getting more comfortable.

It's a fair point. Everytime I see Senator Thompson talking about abortion--voting record or no voting record--he looks as if he'd rather be boiled in oil...and he starts talking about criminalizing girls and their doctors. Ugh.
