MAD PROPS
From reader Sara:
Hi -- I wanted to report that just moments ago I heard Michael Savage on the radio & he had some very kind words about Mitt Romney. Not only did he say that he won the debate last night, but went on further to declare that last night was the beginning of the end of Guliani's campaign, and that we've seen our new frontrunner in Mitt... and that he & Hillary will be their respective party noms. A caller brought up the "Mormon issue" and Savage was quick to dismiss that there's even an issue there; saying that the important issue is that he's a man of faith, etc. There's a poll on www.michaelsavage.com to vote for last night's winner and Romney currently has the lead with about 8700 votes so far. I don't listen to Savage much because he usually so negative about Republicans, but it was nice to hear him giving Mitt some mad props.
Frankly, I don't pay much attention to Savage because I think his rhetoric is often a bit much--but this is interesting. He is, suffice it to say, not exactly a moderate.
