FACT CHECK

Hey, folks. I didn't see the debate last night -- church event -- but here is a fact check from Jonathan Martin:

Asked about the GOP base having qualms about his candidacy, McCain struck back in part by noting he had won the majority of the Republican vote in New Hampshire and South Carolina. But exit polls in both states had self-indentified Republicans supporting his top rivals. In New Hampshire, Romney edged McCain among Republicans, 35-34. In South Carolina, Huck nipped McCain among Republicans, 32-31. Now, these are exit polls and so inexact. But McCain's claims aren't backed up by the data.
