EFM CONTRIBUTOR IN "ELLE"
I never thought it'd happen, but there you have it:
On the first Saturday of February, Nancy French, a 32-year-old writer, sat on the dais of a ballroom in Columbia, South Carolina’s Radisson, sawing through a piece of rubbery chicken as she waited to deliver the keynote speech at a meeting of the South Carolina Federation of Republican Women. French, though younger than the majority of her audience, shared a worldview with most of the women who’d converged in the capital city of perhaps the reddest state in the crimson South—she is a mom of two young children; an evangelical Christian; a contributor to NewsMax, a hyperconservative website; and the author of A Red State of Mind, a collection of humorous essays about the trials of a onetime pageant girl from Paris, Tennessee, whose husband’s career plunked her down into the liberal bastion of Philadelphia.
Go Nancy!
