Well, David and Nancy have basically covered CPAC. I was there briefly, but I didn't see Governor Romney's speech--some of us have to work! All I can add is this: As anyone who has seen Governor Romney speak before likely knows, there is one joke with which he likes to begin speeches like this one. It goes like this (not an exact transcript):

It's great to be with you. As we were on our way here, I said to my sweetheart, "Ann, did you ever think, even in your wildest dreams, that one day I'd be speaking at CPAC?" And she answered, "Mitt, you weren't in my wildest dreams."

Well, I was telling my dear wife about this over waffles this morning, and she clarified--without my instigation--an issue about which my fellow bloggers were surely wondering: I was not in her wildest dreams either.
