Now, I realize my book club is very trend-setting. We don't blindly follow Oprah. Most have never heard of The Secret Lives of Bees. And I refuse to choose any book penned by Mitch Albom (my friends cried through every single page of The Five People You Meet in Heaven. I cried too. From boredom.)

So, I'm just throwing this out there to any other book club members who are making their selections for the upcoming year. A Red State of Mind is the book of 2006. And 2007.
