I like that description of Governor Romney from Robert Novak:

He is acceptable enough to non-Republicans to have been elected governor of very "blue" Massachusetts and then, unlike three GOP predecessors, actually governed as a Republican.

It's especially amusing on a day when another former Massachusetts governor went after him. And it jibes with praise from Massachusetts leaders.
