On a conference call with reporters, the Family Research Council leader said of Governor Romney, "He has made these issues more front and center than other candidates who are social conservatives have... more than even Mike Huckabee and some of the others." He also said he thinks Governor Romney's conversion on abortion is "genuine" and that "he’s making some inroads" among evangelicals. He added, "I don't think he's flip-flopping"
